Catia Silva

Chartered Specialist & State Registered Physiotherapist Qualifications BSc (Hons) MCSP, HCPC Registered, MAACP Catia studied Physiotherapy in Porto, Portugal and finished her degree in 2009. She was born in Madeira Island and moved to England in 2014 and has worked as a physiotherapist here ever since. Catia’s great passion is to help people to heal and to find a healthier lifestyle. She understands that it is important to find the assessment and treatment approach that will work for each individual and their particular need at that time. For this reason, Catia has extended her specialist physiotherapy skills with further post-graduate training to include treatment for jaw pain/ TMJ dysfunction, Mezieres method (functional postural re-education), Craniosacral therapy, Acupuncture for Physiotherapists, Kinesiotaping, Mulligan and Paediatric and adolescent disorders. In her free time she loves cooking, walking, geocaching and travelling.
