Osteoarthritis – most commonly occurs in the hip or knee. Best described as a ‘wear and tear’ of the cartilage within a joint having secondary effects on the underlying bone. Commonly results in pain, stiffness and swelling at the affected joint.

Natural degeneration of the joints can begin as early as our twenty’s. The severity of the joint changes will depend on factors such as prolonged postures, repetitive movements or activities; how we are built naturally and ultimately the stresses and strains you have put your body through throughout your life.
