Caroline has been working as a Physiotherapist for over 20 years and has enjoyed every moment of it. She is passionate about understanding each individual and supports them through their goals using a range of physiotherapy techniques such as, soft tissue massage, manipulation, acupuncture, Pilates (inc. reformer), and strength training. She completed her MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2007 which naturally led to an increase in sport related physiotherapy roles. Her work with elite sports spans many years and includes being the lead Physiotherapist for the Women’s GB EDP (elite development) the physiotherapist for the England U19s Women's Football Team (UEFA championships & U20s World Cup in Chile 2008), Company Physio for the Rambert Dance company and physio consultant for Wycombe District Swimming Club. As an extended scope practitioner and dance therapy lead, Caroline helped to set up the first NHS dance service (2014). She has conducted and presented research internationally (Helsinki 2018, Montreal 2019) and she is currently working with Queen Marys University of London on artificial intelligence feedback for remote rehab. Caroline has mentored and taught on numerous undergraduate and post graduate degrees and feels passionate about learning from others and sharing her knowledge. Caroline has always been involved in sport, but these days is just happy to be active. She recently competed as a master’s swimmer for WDSC (Wycombe District Swimming Club) and the County (in her age group!) but will also dabble in open water swimming and running. Caroline’s key message is ‘you should never stop learning as every person/ patient you meet you learn something new, either about that person or about yourself’.
